Appearance
You can add ad-lib contacts shown as tabs in the chat window.
When you put the mouse pointer to the tab, a hint with the contact info will appear:
Right click on the tab opens a menu.
Hold Shift or Ctrl with right click opens the extended menu with additional rarely used functions.
In case of delivery/undelivery of the message the icon changes accordingly.
In order to know the purpose of the button put the mouse pointer on it.

Variants of sending the messages
Multiple — choose the contacts to send the message. Also you can make several UIN-lists and choose them to send the messages.
When I'm visible to him — sends the message only if you are visible to this contact. For example you are invisible to all. The message in this case won't be sent and will be stored outgoing till you are visible to this contact.
To all opened chats — sends the message to all the contacts opened in the chat window.
Variants of closing the tabs
Close all — closes all tabs, not only hide the chat window (necessary for history synchronization to start).
Close all but this one — closes all tabs except the currently active one.
Close all offlines — closes the tabs of the contacts that are offline.
Close and add to ignore list — closes the tab and adds the contact to ignore list.
Close all NIL and add to ignore list — closes and adds to ignore list all the contacts that are not in the contact list.
Features
When you select the text in the chat it is automatically added to the clipboard (enables in preferences).
Double click on the message opens it in its own window.
Double click/mouse wheel click on the tab closes it.
Double click on the incoming message tip opens chat.
The hidden scroll bar on the left allows to show long messages line by line.
Right click on the chat field shows the menu through which for example is possible to save the history to a file or delete it.
In the status bar you can see the quantity of the typed characters.
Hotkeys
Alt+Up/Down scrolls up/down the messages one by one.
Alt+Page Up/Page Down scrolls up/down five messages.
Alt+Home/End moves to the beginning/end of the conversation.
Alt+Left/Right, Ctrl+Tab, Alt+numbers switch the chat tabs.
Ctrl+Up/Down, Ctrl+mouse wheel scrolls the history line by line.
Ctrl+Enter (or Ctrl+M) sends the message, closes the chat if the sending message is empty and also moves the cursor to the next line (enables in preferences).
Font style codes
you can send bold and underlined text (enables in preferences):
