Send "I added you" message when adding contacts
When you add a new contact to your contact list, this contact will receive a message that you added him.
Show client identifier
The clients supporting identification will show that you use R&Q. But even this clients don't always do it: QIP itself doesn't identify R&Q. Let's leave it to this clients developer's responsibility ;-)
Webaware (enable status indicators on the web)
The simplest is to push "test" with this function on and off, and to compare the difference. When this function is enabled it allows showing your status to the people searching you (if you aren't in their contacts).
Warn me when someone uses visibility exploit on me
If you're invisible and somebody checks your status (i.e. checks if you're really offline) you will receive a message about it.
My authorization is required before people add me to their lists
If this function is enabled the contact which added you won't see your status till receives your authorization (is actual for the clients using SSI).

Show the birthday balloon icon to people
This function determines when your birthday reminder will be shown to your contacts (isn't supported by all clients).
When "always" and "chosen date" are active the icon will be shown to the users of ICQ, QIP, &RQ.

Allows to store the contacts on the server (works only when offline).
Show invisible status
Possibility not to show that you are invisible (the contacts for which you are visible will consider you visible to all).

Send UTF-8 support
Enables UTF-8 support notification to other clients. When enabled the most clients will send you messages in UTF-8, when disabled — in ASCII. However some clients send messages in UTF-8 or ASCII not depending on this function. Anyway R&Q will show the messages correctly.
Send UTF-8 messages
When enabled your messages will be sent in UTF-8.
Encrypt messages
Enables the messages encryption (possible between two R&Q's since 1067 or between R&Q and QIP).
Typing notification
Displays to you when your recipient starts/ends typing.
Send typing
Displays to your contacts when you start/end typing.
Typing idle interval
Shows the time period between you start typing and the message is sent to the recipient.
Support invisibility check
Allows your contacts to check invisibility. At present time this function doesn't work.
Auto request X-status
Allows to request your contacts x-status message automatically. Is enabled immediately after you request the x-status message manually (by right-click menu), or after any x-status change (when the contact is online for the first time the default x-status message will be shown).
Avatars
Support avatars
Enables avatars support.
Auto load avatars
Enables auto-downloading your contacts avatars. If it's disabled but the avatars support is enabled, you can request the avatar manually by right-click menu.
Auto get flash-avatars
Supports flash-avatars loading.
Info about not downloaded avatars
Shows the error message.
